These terms cover your use of Plywise. Plywise is made and sold by KNTN LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("we"). By using the app you agree to them.
KNTN LLC's company terms cover every app we sell and apply to Plywise too. Where they and these terms disagree about Plywise, these terms win.
A planning aid, not a guarantee
Plywise is a planning tool. You are responsible for verifying every measurement before you cut. We are not liable for wasted material, injuries or damages that result from cuts made using the software.
The service is provided as-is
We provide the service "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Plans and fair use
The free plan runs on our server, so please use it reasonably: up to 20 parts per optimization and 20 optimizations per day. See pricing for what each plan includes.
Payments and prices
Pro is a subscription billed monthly or yearly. Payments are handled by Link (Stripe) as merchant of record, and Stripe's Managed Payments terms also apply. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable sales tax, which is calculated at checkout. We may change prices; we will give notice before your next renewal. Cancellation and refunds are described in our refund policy.
In the iOS app, Pro is sold by Apple as an in-app purchase. Apple charges your Apple ID, Apple's Media Services terms apply, and you cancel in your App Store account settings and ask Apple for any refund. Pro bought in the app and Pro bought on this site unlock the same features when you sign in to the same account.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service: no attempts to bypass limits, overload or attack our systems, access other people's data, or use the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend access for abuse.
Your data
You own your project data. You give us only the permission needed to store and process it to run the service. See our privacy policy.
Termination
You can stop using the service or cancel Pro at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. Your projects are not deleted when a subscription lapses.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or material waste, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you cannot waive by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the service means you accept the update.
